According to US News & World Report, Pine View School has returned to the top ten high schools in the country, ranking seventh. Additionally, the school has moved back to its position as first in the state.
US News & World Report ranks schools based on the number and diversity of students, student performance on certain standardized tests, such as Florida Standards Assessments, Advanced Placement tests, students’ overall grade-point average, and how well students are prepared for college according to the College Readiness Index. The US News & World Report reported that Pine View received a full score in the College Readiness Index.
According the US News & World Report, “Pine View School places a strong emphasis on parent involvement through volunteering and fundraising opportunities, open houses, newsletters and field trips.”
Students and faculty are happy to hear that the school has reattained such a high ranking. Ninth-grader Genny Dilan said, “I’m so excited to be attending Pine View and I’m so happy that my education rocks.”
