In order to increase communication within the Pine View community and discuss issues of importance at school, the Pine View Association (PVA) will host its first ever Town Hall event today, Sept. 27, in the Building 16 multipurpose room from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The event is open to all students, parents, staff and other members of the Pine View community.
The meeting will be hosted by principal Dr. Steven Covert and will be centered around the topic of construction, including projects currently taking place on campus and upcoming construction plans, including the multi-story STEM building that is scheduled to be built in the next few years. Two following meetings are scheduled to occur in October and November, which will focus on the topics of communication and curriculum respectively.
The goal of the Town Hall meetings is to increase communication, and community members are given the opportunity to submit their questions in advance by emailing them to townhall@yourpva.com.
Covert said, “We know this is a busy time of year, and are trying to increase the quantity and quality of information and communication to and from administration, parents, and students on a variety of topics.”
