In an annual presentation to parents and students, the third-grade classes put on a wax museum in the Auditorium, running from Feb 8 to Feb. 10.
To get ready for the event, students had to immerse themselves in the lives of the role they each chose to play. Third-grader Evan Waitlock, who played an astronaut, said “We had to get a costume, learn about our character and make an ABC book, where we wrote a sentence about our person for each letter. I feel prepared.”
The event is put on as a class fundraiser, in which students will give short speeches about their character for a few coins given to them. Funds made in the event will go toward funding an end of the year class trip.
