Bringing classical music with flair to campus, the Calidore String Quartet performed in the Auditorium throughout the day on Thursday, Oct. 30.
The Calidore String Quartet is made up of classically trained violinists Jeffrey Myers and Ryan Meehan, violist Jeremy Berry, and cellist Estelle Choi. The group of four formed in 2010 at the Colburn Conservatory, and has since been recognized for their talent in several talent competitions in universities across the states.
Students had the chance to listen to a series of classical songs and were then able to learn a little more about what a career in music is like. According to the members of the quartet, they are committed to mentoring and educating young musicians and students interested in pursuing their talents in the field.
