Renowned children’s book author Theodor Seuss Geisel, otherwise known by his pen name Dr. Seuss, was born March 2, 1904. From “Horton Hears a Who” to “The Cat in the Hat,” Dr. Seuss wrote a myriad of beloved and whimsical works. After his death in 1991, his legacy lives on, with March 2 of every year deemed Dr. Seuss Day and his books still being sold and cherished across the country.
