In page 2 of the December 2017 print issue of The Torch, math teacher Joshua Michalojko was appeared in a photo for the “Best & Brightest teacher scholarship faces discrimination claims” story with the caption, “Math teacher Josh Michalojko helps a student with her math work. The Best & Brightest Teacher Scholarship is given to teachers like Michalajko who performed above the 80th percentile on the SAT or ACT.” Joshua Michalojko was not interviewed for the story as the caption claims. There was a miscommunication between the photographer and editor. Those involved sincerely apologize for this error.
